About Us

The Association of Sierra Leonean Health Professionals in the US (TASHPUS) is a 501©3 non-profit organization registered in Delaware, founded in 2014 to bring critical health services to Sierra Leone, West Africa. TASHPUS hopes to manage a full range of medical and public health programs to tackle the most critical health challenges facing the country.

Provide Sierra Leonean health professionals in the United States a platform to participate in the relief of illnesses, preservation and protection of health in Sierra Leone. This will be done by providing material, financial and medical support to the Poor, distressed or underprivileged people in SIERRA LEONE, who are battling the effects on chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and impacts of outbreak/pandemic due to infectious diseases such as, Ebola, Malaria, HIV and AIDS, Cholera, Hunger, Famine, and other disasters, both natural and manmade resulting from environmental and economic degradation.

Provide a structure for members to collaborate, share best practices, and coordinate information and services to provide accessible, efficient and reliable information and resources for the improvement of healthcare in Sierra Leone.
